We sense the world in first person
It is our only point of view
No matter how much we imagine
What we see is what we think is true.

We have no third person omnipotence
We cannot read other's minds
Imagination allows us to empathise
With the capacity to be kind.

When we tell others about our day
In second person narrative
We can begin to understand
And in love this is imperative.

It is only through our language
Through sharing, and listening too
That we realise experience is similar
For him, for her, for me and you.
