A death smell lingers
From the abandoned truck
The putrid remains
Of desperation
Of bad luck

We can never know
That raging belief
To gamble so much
On fate
On a thief

Their tragedy is silence
Unknown and unspoken
Showing fractures
In a world
That is broken
