Green

A good day to be green
Contrasting the grey pallor
Of a cloudy skyline.

A good day to be green
Unaffected by the stupidity
That the world brings upon itself.

A good day to be green
To re use and refuse
To choke the Earth with poison.

A good day to be green
To take part in celebration
Of a proud nation's culture.
